Holiday Group Language Programs

All year-round we have regular weekly activities for our students. A minimum of two excursions per week are organized for GEOS Ottawa students, and these weekly activities vary by season. Some examples of these activities include karaoke, laser quest, paintball, hiking trips, tobogganing, skiing, or participating in a bowling or pool tournament. 

However, we also have special Holiday Group Programs, which combine part-time or full-time English classes with daily afternoon and/or weekend activities.  Excursions for this type of program include sightseeing, cultural, or adventure activities.

In both cases, after-school activities are organized to provide students with an opportunity to practice their language skills in a non-academic environment, and to put into effect what they have learned in class. At GEOS Ottawa, we feel that after-school tours are an important part of the language learning process, and therefore strongly encourage students to enrol in the various fun and educational activities!
